Prabhakar Atla
Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Prabhakar Atla is accountable for the end-to-end business operations of Cyient, spanning all delivery teams and engineering capabilities worldwide. His mandate covers scaling next-generation delivery models, developing future-ready talent, driving execution agility, and elevating the experience Cyient delivers to its clients.

With a career spanning over three decades in technology and engineering, Prabhakar has led teams and businesses across three continents. More than 20 of those years have been at Cyient, progressing through sales, business unit leadership, and corporate finance, including as President and BU Head for Aerospace, Communications and Rail, and most recently as President and CFO. He is known for building strong teams and delivering in complex, high-stakes environments.

What Prabhakar brings to the COO role is more than operational experience. Having grown with Cyient across some of its most defining years, he has a deep appreciation for what makes the organization distinctive, its domain expertise, its client relationships, and the values that have guided it through every phase of growth. He builds high-performance teams across diverse, multicultural environments and approaches complex situations with both rigor and genuine care for the people involved. He is an active champion of Cyient's CSR initiatives.

Prabhakar holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Andhra University. He has also completed the ISB-Kellogg Global Advanced Management Programme, offered jointly by the Indian School of Business and the Kellogg School of Management.
