Dr. Madan Pillutla
Independent Director

Dr. Madan Pillutla currently serves as the Dean and Professor of Organizational Behaviour at the Indian School of Business (ISB). He brings with him over two decades of global academic and leadership experience, having served on the faculty of the London Business School for 22 years, where he held several leadership roles including Deputy Dean of Faculty, Member of the Management Board, and Member of the Governing Body.

A widely respected scholar, Dr. Pillutla’s research has been published in leading academic journals, and he has served on the editorial boards of the Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, and Academy of Management Review. At London Business School, he introduced the highly popular Negotiations Elective and Directed Executive education programs such as Essentials of Leadership and Negotiation & Influence.

Dr. Pillutla holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from BITS Pilani, a postgraduate degree in Personnel Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, a postgraduate degree from the University of Illinois, and a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia. He has been recognized with distinguished alumnus awards from both BITS Pilani and XLRI.
