The information systems, supported by a mix of legacy and modern platforms, are increasingly moving towards a virtual cloud infrastructure. The digitalization of the industry has accelerated these changes and now offers the potential to improve rail and metro asset availability and operational performance.
As a result of these efforts, terabytes of raw data are being generated, which comprise of mission-critical information, maintenance reports, and passenger-focused analytics.
