Dr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy Honored with Andhra University’s Centenary Distinguished Alumni Award

Visakhapatnam, April 27, 2026: Andhra University today conferred the prestigious “Centenary Distinguished Alumni Award” upon Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder Chairman of Cyient, in recognition of his outstanding achievements and global contributions to the engineering,  technology and education sectors.

The award was presented during the University’s landmark Centenary Event Celebrations, held in the presence of Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Vice-President of India, along with other eminent dignitaries.

Instituted as part of the University’s “Century of Excellence” celebrations, the Centenary Distinguished Alumni Award honors exceptional alumni whose accomplishments have brought distinction and pride to the institution. Dr. Mohan Reddy was one of the eight who were selected from among thousands of graduates as one of the most illustrious alumni, reflecting his visionary leadership and enduring impact on industry and society.

For a century, Andhra University has been a beacon of learning, built on the dedication of its teachers, administrators, and visionary leaders. As it enters its second century, I am confident that its finest chapters are yet to be written,” said Dr BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder Chairman, Cyient, after receiving the award.
