At Cyient, we encourage students by creating opportunities for them to be a part of our success and know what goes on behind some of the most innovative global engineering projects.

If you are a student or recent graduate, we invite you to join our team even before you graduate and learn alongside the industry’s subject matter experts to gain real, hands-on experience in the aerospace and communications domains.  We also offer enrichment programs to enhance your development.

You may be a recent graduate eager to launch your career with a diversified global engineering company, or a student interested in a customized “train to hire” opportunity—Cyient can make it happen!

We are always on the lookout for the best and the brightest of talent to join us. If you are among those, we will focus on your development from day one and groom you further for a career with us. In addition, throughout your training, Cyient will provide you with unparalleled learning opportunities, diverse challenges, and exposure to evolving new technologies. Explore our Early Career Program to join a select group of budding engineers getting ready for professional growth in a dynamic sector.

The Early Career Program at Cyient helps students pursuing degrees in engineering, information systems/information technology, and drafting to gain practical experience on the concepts they learn in theory classes.   What’s more, with the training assignments under this initiative, you go beyond just challenging and stretching your abilities – you will influence our very business.

As students, you will work in tandem with Cyient’s top engineers who develop unique strategies for our customers and help them leverage innovative technologies. You will get opportunities to visit manufacturing facilities, meet and work alongside Cyient leadership, and present a meaningful project to a senior leader at the end of your training stint/internship. Your progress will be tracked and measured in similar ways that we use to evaluate our full-time employees – this will give you insights for a real career experience in a competitive environment.

An ideal Early Career candidate will:

  • Be pursuing a degree related to their targeted functional area in engineering
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Have leadership experience in clubs, student organizations, or similar other activities involving organizing/management abilities
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be geographically mobile

Programs are currently available at Asnuntuck Community College Hartford, CT, supporting the aerospace and defense business unit, and at North East Mississippi Community College supporting the communications business.

Cyient provides competitive benefits for on-job training and internships, and a successful assignment may also lead to an offer of full-time employment.
