Hyperspectral Imaging

  • Get in touch with us

Our airborne imaging services offer hyperspectral surveys with a GPS/INS assisted sensor covering broad wavelength spectrum of 380 to 2500nm. With over 380 bands captured for every pixel in an image, and the ability to see beyond the visible spectrum, our hyperspectral services offer rapid surveys of large areas.

High spectral and sub-meter spatial resolutions, combined with expert image processing and data analysis to derive value-added geospatial products, makes it the complete package.

Classification Abilities

What information can the spectrum tell us? All materials interact differently with light, and each one has an individual characteristic or behavior in how the light is reflected, which is called 'reflectance.' The reflectance of some example objects/materials can be generalized as follows:

Benefits

Fast Identification
Land classification with increased level of accuracy

Vegetation Mapping
Quickly identify and analyze vegetation species, as well as health

Detection
Detect minerals, materials, and concealed targets easily

Feature Extraction
Detect changes and improve feature extraction

Applications

Environmental Surveys
Assess the quality and health of vegetation over large areas

Agriculture and Forestry
Identify optimum planting locations and pinpoint felled trees

Defense
See detail previously hidden in traditional RGB imagery

Mining, Oil, and Gas
Easily and quickly analyze surface minerals
