25 Grand Years of Designing Tomorrow Together; Cyient celebrates a musical Silver Jubilee

Hyderabad, August 28, 2016 - Cyient, a global provider of engineering, manufacturing, data analytics, networks and operations solutions, is celebrating its 25th year and the company marked the occasion with a musical evening in Hyderabad today. Celebration that took place in Hitex, was attended by close to 6000 members including key clients, partners of Cyient, associates and their family members. The company has planned several activities as part of the silver jubilee celebrations across Cyient's major offices in India and abroad throughout the year.

The event started off with a welcome address by Mr. Krishna Bodanapu, MD and CEO Cyient and Mr. BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder and Executive Chairman of Cyient presided over the event. Mr. Mohan Reddy addressed the gathering and shared his experience and insights into the 25-year journey of Cyient. Founded in 1991 with four employees and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Cyient has grown into a vibrant organization earning revenues of around INR 3,000+ crores (close to US$500 million). Cyient today is truly multinational with operations in more than 36 global locations and is creating direct employment opportunities for more than 13,000+ professionals.

The evening proceeded with the felicitation of Mr. Vijayabhasker Reddy Sangem, a passionate long-distance cyclist and Cyient associate, who cycled 3700km solo from Kashmir to Kanyakumari within a month to commemorate Cyient's 25th anniversary.

The cultural night also witnessed Cyient associates who were winners of an internal talent hunt competition giving performances themed around an ode to commencement of Cyient's 25th year. This was followed by a live performance by the renowned Tollywood playback singer Sunitha Upadrashta, who enthralled the audience with her melodious voice and entertained them with her hit numbers like O Prema, Putthadi Bommanti, Naa Paata and many Bollywood hits as well.
